Introduction

I create portraits from the photographs you provide. The challenging part of creating portraits from photos is having the right photo to begin with. A lot of photos are great, but it takes certain qualities to make a portrait. I will not be able to work off photos that are out-of-focus, poorly lit, or with very small resolution. Please provide high resolution photographs so I can see all the face details. The better the photo, the better the result.
I take a lot of pride in my work, and try to find the best possible photo to work with.
If you are unsure if your photograph will transfer well into a portrait, please feel free to send me your pictures for consideration. When you contact me to order a custom portrait, I will check that your photo is large/clear enough. Also, sending multiple photos helps, for it gives me an idea of the subject's looks and personality.
I do my work on quality 11x14 paper. Drawing will fit nicely into an 11x14 frame matted to fit 8x10 drawing.
Price: $50 single subject. Each additional subject $10 (no more than 3 subjects)
Payment:
Cash or money order.
20% non-refundable deposit upon order. Remainder due upon portrait completion and your approval. No payment required until a good photo is chosen & agreed upon.
Most portraits are completed within 2-3 weeks (possibly less).
You will receive your finished portrait unmatted and unframed.
I retain all rights to each piece of art I create. Please ask for permission to use in any manner other then for personal display.
